Knowledge of fish husbandry and water testing is crucial but further internal training will be given, to support the Estate Manager and his team to maintain the lakes. The Get Fishing Awards Our second 'Get Fishing Awards' event was held on Saturday 5th September and this time our team of bailiffs were joined by Dean Asplin from the Angling Trust. Dean has designed and is responsible for the 'Get Fishing Awards', a three date certificated course that we have been supporting on our SLF days at the fishery. [48hr fishing] Anglers are permitted to fish for up to 48hrs Monday - Thursday or up to 24hrs Friday – Sunday. Anglers are required to leave a 24hrs rest period between sessions, this is so that we can deliver fair fishing during this pandemic and limit swim blocking. To book a 48 hour session please book two 24hr tickets for the days of your choice.
