We are receiving a lot of messages daily asking us when we will be reopening the fishery. The truth is that we really don’t know yet. As a business we are following government guidelines and we have a duty of care to our customers and the local community. Whilst it is not safe to risk anglers mixing or have our bailiffs doing their rounds, we will not be reopening the fishery.

With angling often being a solo sporting activity, we believe that when soft social distancing resumes, we will be able to reopen the fishery for solo anglers. What matters most right now is that we protect the vulnerable, our NHS and our whole community. The sooner we continue to keep things locked down the sooner we will be able to enjoy our wonderful recreation environments once again.

Thank you for your patience and we look forward to welcoming you back to our lakes as and when we can.
