Thank you everyone who visited us yesterday at our Family Fishing Fun Day. The weather was kind to us and we hope you all enjoyed it.
From our first ideas of having a fun day to encourage youngsters into the sport and help promote the work we have done down the lakes, to getting the help and support we needed from the Angling Trust, this event just grew and grew.
The biggest thanks have to go to Trina Young (Roy’s sister and work colleague) for doing an amazing job pulling together all the detail and ordering everyone about on the day (including me!) Also to Kathy Owen for helping organise the day and get the message out there. Without you two, the day wouldn’t have been the success it was.
So many more thank you’s to get out there.
