Do you have some old or spare tackle that you have been given or have lying around? Do you want to get into the sport and want to fish with others of the same ability? Come along to our community run SLF days where local anglers and Seven Lakes Bailiffs are on hand to help with any questions about the sport that you may have or to explain rigs, tackle and the rules of fishing and watercraft.

This is not a lesson or coaching day but instead an informal relaxed small gathering where you can feel comfortable to ask questions and pick up the sport in a fantastic environment.

Meet from 9am at lakes 4&5

We provide extra bait to fish as part of the SLF group only. On your first and second session a rod license is not required as a special offer with a SLF ticket only (in association with the Angling Trust).

Open to members of the public, day ticket holders and season ticket holders. *You must purchase a ticket online if you are wanting to attend and fish on the day.

Enter the ‘Get Fishing Awards’
For each SLF day completed, you gain a certificate from the Angling Trust

Day 1 Bronze – Water safety, fish care and learn how to tie a hook and bait up
Day 2 Silver – Casting, landing a fish, discorging and safe release
Day 3 Gold – Buy your own rod license and successfully fish unaided
